My mother, as did many a young girl at the breakout of WWII, found a young Doctor bound for battle, married him, and waited anxiously for his return at the wars end. Luckily, he did, unscathed, but anxious to establish a medical practice as a radiologist, of which few existed (National license number 713), Demand took him to Seattle to then Children's Orthopaedic where he started the small hospitals 1st radiology program.
