I am a self-taught baker from Oakland and I do double duty as an admin at some of the best (& worst) offices in San Francisco--and I gig every weekend with some of the best & brightest entrepreneurs in the east bay while making my company, Sugarsweet Cookie + Cake Studio a household name.

I love to bake. I love to create and I love to make people happy with my edible art. I always use organic ingredients in everything I bake mainly because I just think it tastes better and i hate the idea of putting chemicals in my body or yours. My design influences are past & present leaders (mostly past!) in fashion, pop culture, music and film, --people like David Bowie, Grace Jones, Alexander McQueen, Andy Warhol & Diana Ross are huge influences on me and my work, among others.

I've been blessed enough to be featured in a few magazines like Cuisine Noir, Basil, Modern Flavor, East Bay Bridal and Munaluchi Bridal . The wedding blog 100 Layer Cake featured my work and I've been interviewed on a few online radio programs. I've made fresh berry tarts for actor Danny Glover, a birthday cake for activist and chef Bryant Terry, baked Congresswoman Barbara Lee’s birthday cake and made campaign cakes for ex-KPIX newscaster Dana King. I've also worked with people like Top Chef Just Dessert’s contestant Erika Davis and celebrity chef G. Garvin.

I currently reside in Oakland, California and am diligently working towards building the cake studio of my dreams.
