I am a second year student at Salford University, studying Professional Sound and Video Technology. I am an amateur film maker and a producer of music.

I am competent using multiple different Audio and Video editing software, including FCP, Adobe Master Suite (Photo shop, Premiere, Illustrator etc.) Logic Pro, Pro Tools etc.

I have lots of experience in offline editing and have gained lots of hours editing experience.The largest being a 25 minute feature documentary which will be placed under the "Films" section of my blog shortly.

For the past 4 years i have had regular weekly studio time in a Professional Audio Studio, During this time i have used multiple desks and platforms and used lots of different hardware and software versions of audio devices and tools.

I have also acquired skills in website creation, using C++ language. HTML, CSS, Java Script and Flash animation. The most notable of these skills is a website brief competition for a real client, in which i have been shortlisted as the best 4 in class. If successful my website would go live for the company and i would be paid for the design.

I have been apart of the "Quays News" gallery team, serving as the graphics technician. this is a live TV Studio environment where slip ups are not aloud the pressure is on. During this time i have been involved in the "BBC Fast Train" event. this is where i had to teach a professional how to do my job on the show in a short period of time. That person would then have to do a live show a few minutes later. This taught me how to stay calm under pressure and how to teach my skills clearly and quickly.

During the summer of 2012 I completed a 4 week work placement on the BBC's "Blue Peter", this involved running for the show, getting sets ready, working on shoot locations, helping with filming and working in the gallery on the live show. This taught me how a professional show worked and the level of production a large scale long running show desires. This helped to focus me on what i want to achieve, I also met a lot of interesting people and gained some invaluable advice.
