PC THA GREAT FRANKI BARNS

(1984-1996)Pc tha great (Kittrick Leverette) was born on Tydall Air Force base Panama City Fl, and begain to know music at a very young age.Always being in to art Pc Tha great first starting drawing what came out his mind then by the age of 12 started writting what came from his mind and soon after started turning them in to ryhmes.He learned how to write bars by listening to tupac and icecube and counting how many words they used in each sentce before they hit a punch line.

(1997-1999)Soon after that Pc tha great who went by K.Rich at the time got the chance to record his first tracks with a friend on his dads hand held recorder that he not long after that gave to Pc to keep.Pc Tha Great fell in love with the hand held recorder that his friend gave him spending endless nights recording new freestyles tracks and learning new ways to use this tool like recording a track on it then taking the tape out playing it in the back ground and recording over it to dube his tracks.Using every beat he could find he started to run out of beats so he had to start find a way to loop the begaining and end of track to songs recorded by big name artist like Tupac,Big,Dr Dre,Snoopp Dogg.He would take and play the tracks they recorded on and stop the tape before they started rapping then record it all over again until he had a whole beat.He would then copy the tapes he recorded copy them and take them to school and sale them to classmates in the 7th grade at (Mowet middle school Lynn Haven fl)along with candy bars and suckers.

(1999-2000)Around this time was when this time was when record labels like Nolimit(Master P) ,Cash Money (Baby & Slim )and Bad Boy(Diddy) was blowing up and he seen that it was more to the music business then rapping so he started Sho No Mercy Records and by the time pc tha great was in the 10 grade he had a good set up at home to record his first cd with just Dd Clip, Sound Forge and a mic hanging from a celin fan. this would help him build his name as not only a rapper around town but as a producer.making beats and recording people just with a computer.

(2000-2003)He would drop his first cd but with other artist he had recorded with in his bed room at his moms house in lynn haven he would take the recording to a big studio around the coner to let the man who owned it fix the sound levels and print copies for him.With over 500 copies of his first home studio release just like the tapes he would take these cds to scho
