Pascal De Mulder

Pascal De Mulder is a World Wide Executive Consultant for IBM's Collaboration Solutions Group. Belgian, born in Wilrijk on the 22nd of Nov.'57. Went to college in Brasschaat and became an Engineer in Electronics. During Military Service I was a candidate officer in the Belgian Army in Brasschaat 17RA. In Sept. ’85 married with Martine De Brucker. Two children. My objectives: become a motivated creative IT professional, a Technology Architect for a pan-European or even Global company where I can share my knowledge of Collaborative Computing, Client/Server technology, Data warehousing and Web technology with a team of specialists. Preferable to head up this team. Joined Lotus Development Benelux in May 93 as a System Engineer Network Applications. Before joining Lotus, I worked as a New Technology Manager at a High Tech. Company in Antwerp, mainly involved with Network connectivity and Communication Technology. My career started at Alcatel Bell where I worked for nine years abroad specialized in problem solving International Telephone Exchanges. In this job I was an expatriate and lived in countries like: Venezuela, Nigeria, Zaire, China and Hong-Kong, Taiwan. Founder (1990) and ex-board member of the Novell Users Group Belgium. This non-profit organisation has grown to the second largest user group in Europe after 3 years (450 members) during my management contribution. As of October 1, 1999 Product Manager and Lotus EMEA Super.move team member , job consists in defining and promoting the best solutions to coexist with and migrate from legacy LAN messaging systems to Notes and Domino, also targeting winback platforms such as Microsoft Exchange and Netscape Mail. I managed the agreements in place with 3rd party vendors. In addition, I was also responsible for managing escalations for LAN migration and coexistence projects which is often a critical success factor in the proper implementation of Super.move offerings in high profile and large scale migration accounts. In 2008 I became the competitive sales leader for IBM South-West Europe.
