My name is Patrick de Nekker and live in Rotterdam. I am lucky to get married to a very pretty girl named Baukje and we are bleshed that we have 2 beautiful girls (Maya - 4 yrs and Zenna - 0 yrs).

I love live; like to play soccer, to snowboard, to travvel, to enjoy food and have a beer with my friends.

In 2007 I quite my job at Heineken and started, with my business partner and nowadays friend, Henk Witteveen: EARTH Concepts.

We sells mineral water / coffee and donates 100 percent of its net profit to finance waterprojects. So far we donated more than 569.000 EUR to waterprojects.

I am responsible for the Sales Strategy and Operations. I live according to the idea: “If you don’t do anything, nothing will happen”. I had 10 years of working experience with companies such as Numico, Hero and Heineken, where I served as a Channel and New Business Manager.

Why did I became Founder of Earth Concepts? I couldn’t get Kori Chilibeck’s words out of my mind: “If you had the chance, would you change the world?”. I liked the excitement and satisfaction of being an entrepreneur, while also having the opportunity to increase the value and meaning of my life by helping people throughout the world. In the case of EARTH Concepts this means: helping people worldwide to gain access to clean, drinkable water.

Before 1-4-2014 EARTH Concepts has donated more than 500.000 EUR to water projects.
