Well hello there! And welcome to my humble little About.Me page! You must be curious to know a bit about me, or you probably wouldn't have stopped by. Well, kick back, get comfy, and read on!

I was raised in small towns most of my life, and have small town manners. But deep down, I'm a city girl at heart. I love the convenience, the abundance of activities, and (most of the time) the hustle and bustle of city life.

I raised two kids on my own, and recently became a grandmother. I know, I know.. I look and act FARRRR too young to be a grandma. But I guess that's what happens when you have your first child at the ripe old age of 18. :)

I discovered a love of photography in my early 20's, but was never really able to truly pursue learning all the intricacies and techniques until just in the last 5 or 6 years. I've still got a lot to learn, but I like to think I've developed a pretty great eye for it so far! And I most definitely have no intention to ever stop pursuing more knowledge on the subject!

Despite enjoying city life and all it entails, I'm a raging introvert and I absolutely LOVE to spend quality time on a deserted hiking trail snapping pictures of plants and insects and other lovely things, or on the road looking for the next kitschy attraction, or rickety, weathered old barn, or maybe an abandoned house or ghost town to photograph.
