PDX TEE WRECKS

1. The act of wrecking or the state of being wrecked; destruction.

Not quite as catastrophic as it sounds, PDX Tee Wrecks is all about turning blank t shirts into wrecked masterpieces. Wrecked with ink, that is.

I've always had a diy spirit, designing, making, and reconstructing clothes and other items to better fit my personality and those of my friends. I was introduced to the actual field of graphic arts over 10 years ago, and it forever wrecked my world....in a good way. The process of taking an idea or design and producing a tangible item that can fill someone with joy or that can put a smile on their face, is something that thrills me to no end.

I've worked in different graphic arts fields, but the one that I keep coming back to, the one that has a hold on me, is screen printing. Creating wearable art is my passion. After all, there's nothing that can put a smile on someone's face, there's nothing that can start the day off right, like the right t-shirt.

Tee Wrecks is a project years in the making. It's not something I bank on getting rich doing. It's a way to let my creativity and passion fly, and hopefully make someone grin in the process.
