Andrew studied music at the University of East Anglia and won the PRS Sir Arthur Bliss Scholarship to study MMus Composition for Screen at the Royal College of Music London, graduating with Distinction in 1997.

To date, he has composed and orchestrated music for over forty films, including THE HOARDER, 30 MILES, DARK CORNERS, TULA: THE REVOLT, MODIGLIANI and FAST & FURIOUS 6. His traditional skills as an orchestrator are in demand on high profile advertising campaigns such as MULLER, VODAFONE, VIRGIN ATLANTIC and SONY SKYFALL 007, often recording with large orchestras in Abbey Road or Air Studios, London.

After college, he was commissioned to compose original logo music for the major French Television Channel TF1 and in 2011, recorded a new signature theme for CINE DIMANCHE conducting the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra. He continues to write music for their TV library.

In addition to his Film & TV scoring assignments, Andrew has composed and produced a full symphonic album, CINEMA SYMPHONY, recorded by the Royal Scottish National Orchestra in August 2007. The album featured Violinist Miriam Kramer, who premiered his beautiful 'Elegy for Violin & Orchestra'. Released in December 2008 on Moviescore Media label to wide critical acclaim, it has been broadcast worldwide, including a premiere on Classic FM.

Andrew is also known internationally as a composer/arranger for wind and brass bands with over forty titles published by Molenaar Edition B.V. Netherlands. This association has led to numerous commissions, most recently by the Koninklijke Marechaussee to commemorate 200 years of the Dutch Kingdom and by Philip Cobb, principal Trumpet of the London Symphony Orchestra, who invited him to compose the major new work on his album Maestro - Concertino for Trumpet.
