Peculiar N. Okafor (Organic Farmer Pec)
Organic Farmer, Social Entreprenuer, and Agriprenuer in Nigeria
The EcoAgriprenuer's Story
By Peculiar N. Okafor
My journey to becoming The EcoAgriprenuer began with a painful experience - food poisoning that made me question the safety of our food.
That wake-up call led me start a small organic garden. Wholesome food from healthy soil. It changed everything.
Driven by that experience, I pursued a degree in Agriculture, training in organic farming, circular economy and waste management. I didn't just want to grow food, I wanted to help change the food system.
Through Rocksolid Organic Agro Enterprise, we produce and process organic food that heals and nourishes. But, many farmers cannot afford sustainable inputs - so I co-founded Greenglow Recycling Ltd (formerly Agrocyclers), where we turn organic waste into affordable farm solutions, reducing costs, improving yields, restoring degraded soils and cutting emissions.
Through EcoWorld Kids, I teach children to become planet protectors.
I am also passionate about community development.
