Listen to my music

Music has accompanied Pedro's life since his early years; however, it was only when he turned fifteen that he decided to get involved in it: the desire to learn to play guitar was born when he spent weeks listening to the album "Where The Light Is", by John Mayer. And when he was able to buy his first guitar, he closed himself in his bedroom (the headquarters of all his future works) and began to play. Between chords and attempted riffs, his passion for music grew as he was discovering his weaknesses and never gave up on developing his skills. At the age of eighteen, he tried to take a new step. Not content with just playing the guitar, Pedro began to sing. After many attempts, he created a YouTube channel and shared his first video. With all the technology development, this was the easiest and most efficient way to show to his close friends something that only few people knew. Despite singing musics from very styles , he began to gain preference for folk, indie and even country, always with the acoustic concept. Always eager to learn more, he increased his personal collection of musical instruments, which is now completed with two acoustic guitars, an ukulele, a mandolin, a banjo and many others that, like himself says, "can make some noise".

Recently he launched himself into the spotlights through his participation in "The Voice Portugal", a contest in which he participated to advertise the work he has done so far. This experience increased his will to accomplish an old dream : to build his own path in music, in order to be a reference and inspiration to others , as many other singers were for him.

Now , at the age of twenty two, Pedro embraces new dreams and new projects. After many years on the shelf, the project Giant's Magazine is finally seeing the green light - a folk/indie project , with American, British and Nordic influences ( the result of his lectures and musical preferences : Mumford & Sons; Of Monsters And Men; The Lumineers; Bon Iver; Damien Rice; Stokes, William ) and a clear goal: the release of the first album, entitled "The Book Of The Dark Valley". Some of the songs planned for this work, from "Rise" to "The Bourbon Tissue" and "The Storyteller", have been presented by Pedro in his concerts and on his YouTube channel. Soon, new songs will be presented, as the album is being completed and planned.

Pedro's great dream is music. So, as the storyteller said, "Let him do what he does best in life."
