Pedro Ortiz

Pedro J. Ortiz, Jr. is the founder and president of Dead Men Rising Ministries. He was born in Springfield, Massachusetts where he lived for 22 years. It was there where he received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in October of 1998.

Given to him dreams and prophecies, he knew that God was calling him to the ministry with the mandate of proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ! He followed the prompting of the Holy Spirit and continued his education in Theology for Biblical and Ministerial Studies in the International School of Ministry, in which he received class valedictorian on graduation, in Boca Raton, Florida. He met his wife Audrey A. Ortiz in ISM, and in 2004 they were ordained through Christian Ministries International Fellowship.

In 2008, God called them out and led them to Light for the Nations, where they served as Pastors for four years. Now, both are currently recieving spiritual covering from Apostle Luiz Herminio, founder of MEVAM​ - Missões Evangelísticas Vinde Amados Meus (Come My Beloved Evangelistic Missions), an Apostolic International Ministry which started at Itajaí - Santa Catarina, Brazil and it has expanded in over 13 countries of the world.

Today, they are ministering together for the purpose of seeing the lost saved and the saints equipped! With an evangelistic zeal and a prophetic voice, God is using Pedro to raise up a people with Kingdom mentality, by stirring up their lives with the Truth of the Gospel and by embracing the promises of God.

Pedro has also served as a youth pastor and has been involved in prison and evangelism ministries. The Lord is utilizing him in various areas of ministry, speaking in various local churches, evangelistic campaigns, and youth rallies in the United States, and in other countries such as Guatemala, Bolivia, Peru, Germany, Colombia, Dominican Republic and Brazil.

Pedro has been ministering for the past fifteen years with the purpose of impacting this generation with the power and the anointing of the Holy Spirit, by bringing the Good News of the Kingdom and as an oracle of God Almighty. His passion is to do the will of God and to be a vessel through which God can demonstrate His power in a tangible way and see the manifested glory of God.

Pedro resides in South Florida with his wife Audrey and their three jewels from God Jireh, Arianna, and Jordyn.
