I grew up in São Paulo, studied music in New York and London, and settled in Paris. I am an expert on the interaction of creativity and health, which I promote in books, articles, seminars, and master classes all over the world. Musically, I work as a cellist, pianist, singer, and composer. My books include "Integrated Practice: Coordination, Rhythm & Sound," "The Integrated String Player: Embodied Vibration," and "Indirect Procedures: A Musician's Guide to the Alexander Technique," all published by Oxford University Press; and the children's novels "Befiddled" and "Backtracked," published by Random House.
