After my service as a military observer for the Multinational Force and Observers on the border between Egypt and Israel, I came to Germany in the late 80's.

My first professional appointments were all communication and the commercial management of communication projects.

In 1999, I jumped from the civilized communication industry into the wild web world. I started as VP marketing and IR at CANBOX AG. This was followed by an appointment as Senior Manager at Deutsche Telekom´s T-Online, being responsible for the restructuration of the portal´s commercial and organizational Infrastructure, creating a new web and portal search engine and set-up a marketing platform for infotainment.

At the end of 2003 I changed to contraco, an IT-consultancy focused on internet- and search engines based technologies, where I became MD for the Pan-European Region.

In 2005, I spinned of and founded my own consultancy agency, Salad & Cheese GmbH, broadening my scope for more commercially driven projects focusing on assignments in eCommerce, Retail and Apparels.

In March 2007 - after running several projects for Street One GmbH, I joined as MD for Street One´s Holding Company, the private equity owned CBR Fashion Holding, and was assigned responsible for corporate strategy, IT, Logistics and International Service.

After my buy-out from CBR in February 2009, I established Jolte GmbH, a small incubator company for Mobile and web Start-Ups. In the cause of this incubator, I acquired minority stakes and seed-funded a number of smaller tech-start-ups. Furthermore I acquired a majority share in terminii GmbH, an online appointment service for small and medium size corporations, and was dedicated as MD responsible for the market launch, funding and corporate development. In August 2011, Jolte GmbH successfully sold terminii to human solutions GmbH.

In June 2011 than Emesa Holding BV, an Oakley Capital portfolio eCommerce Company, approached me and appointed me as Interims Managing Director of Emesa Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG with the sole task to lead Emesa´s expansion to Germany and to launch Aladoo.de, an Online Auction Platform for Travel & Leisure, on the German market.

I hold a long track record with private equity funded ventures and re-organizational projects in the turmoil of management change and innovation.
