Widowed mother of 3 boys. My youngest son is autistic and 15. Because of bullying issues at the local school I home school him and he is excelling!

I attended UCA as a non-traditional BFA major Ceramics until September 29th, 2013, when I had to drop out because I suffered a blood clot in the ARTERY of my left forearm, I was unconscious in CCU for 10 days. After several surgeries, I was left scarred and partially paralyzed in my left arm and lost parts of all of my fingers to amputations. I am a strong and very dedicated woman and I have not let that stop me or slow me down!

I have many interest when it comes to Art. I like everything from functional to abstract. I hand build, throw on the wheel, and slip cast pottery/ceramics. I love trying out new glazes and finishing process. I paint in oil, watercolor, acrylic, and encaustic. I love to make recycled art as well as multimedia art pieces.

I also have interest in Autism and communications. As soon as I can procure a studio space, I will be able offer classes to autistic individuals in hopes they will realize another form of communication.
