Peg Stookey

Peg Stookey, founder of Legacy Connection, is on the move. Legacy Connection, a group focused on accelerating entrepreneurial success, has a growing base of membership. What makes this group unique is the focus on education and building local, sustainable business mixed with a "don't go it alone" attitude. With a background in franchising, Peg has been able to apply practical techniques that help prepare a business owner for growth, prosperity, and a future exit strategy. Heading into its fifth year of business, Peg may still be a student at the "school of hard knocks", but that doesn't limit her from practicing what she preaches. Many of our members are in some phase of transition. Interestingly enough, 2011 will be a transitionary year for Legacy Connection as it moves to create a more fluid program and introduces the "Legacy School of Entrepreneurship" - a place for entrepreneurs to teach, learn, and grow. Thanks to an initiative by the CMC Properties, Peg is moving her business into their "Greenhouse" and can now make this dream her reality. Beyond Legacy Connection Peg is passionate about speaking and personalized consulting. She also donates her time to organizations like Life Point Solutions, area SBDC's, and Bad Girl Ventures, and has been recognized by the Clermont County Chamber as its Small Business Advocate of the Year and a runner-up for the Cincinnati Regional Chamber WE awards.
