I am a creative soul, a lifelong learner, and a true southerner. Aside from a business in the wedding industry, blogging about my family, and burying my head in the books, I am also a wife and mother. I have lived in several states within the last 10 years and one thing that I know for sure-- I belong in the south. Oh, and I only take my tea one way---SWEET.

Although I do not create and design as much as I once did, I find that it's quite therapeutic and will accept a contract here and there from time to time. I have moved my focus over my blog, Femmy Faction, so that it doesn't interfere with my desire to step into the classroom.

EDUCATION!! Working in higher education for a number of years inspired me to obtain my graduate degree. I really loved the process of helping a student achieve their dream of a college education. Student advisement, recognition, and programming were my favorite components of higher education. My love for education, my previous experience with the PTA, and my desire to create those moments of clarity for younger students, ignited a passion for elementary education. So, that's my goal-- obtaining my Master's in Elementary Education and changing the lives of all young people that I come in contact with. I am well on my way!!
