Pelf-Nyok Chen

I have been involved in turtle research, conservation, education and public outreach since 2004. In 2011, I co-founded Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia, an NGO dedicated to turtle conservation and I currently serve as its Honorary Secretary.

I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Zoology at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, with a scholarship from CIMB Foundation.

I am an avid reader, an ocassional blogger, and a social media enthusiast. I give talks too, and have recently spoken at TEDxKL.

I am environmentally (and children) friendly, really! :D
