P.E.M.G.

P.E.M.G. is a community based youth mentoring program in Staten Island, New York that uses the Hip-Hop culture to reinforce community values, sense of purpose, and entrepreneurial spirit in youths ages 13 - 21. P.EM.G. encourages independent thinking from participants in order to challenge negative value qualities. Teaches tangible steps towards attaining their goals in New Media, Entertainment/ Arts and Technology. P.E.M.G. developed a performance group of young people extolling the virtues and original tenets of the Hip Hop Culture “Peace, Unity, Love, and Having Fun”. To this ends this group of artist have performed at various events including Hip Hop 4 Haiti, Hip Hop Appreciation Week, Mamma’s Hip Hop Kitchen and many more reaching vast audiences both live and virtually.
