Penelope Taylor

I am a Jersey girl, save for the four years attending university in Boston. My creativity was nurtured by my parents (my Dad, the physicist, and my Mum, the artist). They were terrified when it came time for me to pick a major in college. I had too many interests! I finally settled on computer science long before the PC or Mac was even conceived. I am far from the atypical geekette. I eagerly seek knowledge across a broad spectrum, and you will find me taking workshops, college classes, webinars, or reading voraciously. I enjoy travel, especially in the US and Canada, with the national and provincial parks my favorite places to spend. My companion on my adventures is my Nikon (currently a D800). I find that through the camera I can create the type of art that I was frustrated to produce with other mediums. The technical side appeals to my geekiness too! I live in NW NJ, close to the Appalachian Trail, with my cat, Hoshi. It's all good!
