Graphic Designer - PD DesignFull-Time Faculty at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh Online

Penney DellaValle received her BFA in Graphic Design from Paier College of Art and a MFA in Graphic Design from the Miami University of Art & Design Online.

After working as an art director for many years, she formed PD Design, a freelance design firm run from her personal studio. PD Design encompasses many different aspects of the advertising and marketing world, from packaging design to billboards and all points in between. Her full portfolio can be found at www.pddesign.net.

In 2005, she began teaching as an adjunct in the Graphic Design department at Paier College of Art. In 2010, she began teaching as a full-time faculty Graphic Design division at Art Institute of Pittsburgh Online Division, and enjoys all the thoughtful discussions and knowledge online learning has to offer. She strives to be as aspiring and motivating as some of the teachers she has had the pleasure of being their student. New students, their fresh perspectives, and their love for art and design always inspire her. She feels very fortunate to be able to combine the two things she loves to do, design and teaching, into her daily work life.
