Penny Cao

Penny Cao was born in Guangzhou,China. In China,she studied cooking and made dimsum for 3 years, she also worked for one year in a hotel.

Later on, she moved to Canada with her parents. When she arrived in Canada, she didn't know what she was going to do for a career.

In 2010, Penny had the opportunity to work at Anna's Cake House in Vancouver. While there, she learned inummerable skills that will benefit her in her pursuit to become a baker. She decided to go to school to learn how to become a baker, but she had no money to pay fot the tuition fees. So she gave up the job at Anna's Cake House, and started working at the Banana Leaf Malaysian Cuisine for one year. When she had enough money to pay her tuition fees, she started studying at Vancouver Community College in the baking and pastry arts pregram.

Penny is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. She likes to work with a team, she is co-operative, and she likes sharing ideas with other people.Also, she's friendly and flexible.
