Alberto Perez

Ottawa

Born, raised and mostly educated in Mexico and partly in Canada. I lived in Vancouver for almost a year, studying Business English and Hospitality. Currently I am enrolled in a two year Business Management and Entrepreneurship program at Algonquin College in Ottawa.

Back in Mexico, I have a Bachelor degree in Electronic Engineering. Work related experience in different projects associated with design, automation (PLC) and structure cabling. During my last year in University, I worked as a Project Investigator in WSN (Wireless Sensors Networks). Project which I used as a thesis topic: Analysis & implementation of localization techniques for wireless sensor networks.

Since I was a kid, I always loved all kind of sports. I was involved in Baseball, Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, running but specially in Martial Arts. I practiced Tae Kwon Do for almost 10 years, during that time I worked as a teacher, assistant and referee for over 5 years, as well as a competitor for 6 years. I also wanted to start my own business so I decided to open my own Tae Kwon Do school for a short period of time. In between that time I had the opportunity to learn different styles of Martial Arts, such as Boxing, Kickboxing and Muay Thai.
During this years that I have lived in Canada, I had the opportunity to try Snowboarding, Ski, Tubing and Water skiing for the very first time, and now I love those sports.
