Alan Perkins

I was born and raised in Calgary and have seen tremendous changes in the city over the years. I'm a marketing professional in the telecommunications industry with over 15 years’ experience. I believe that you are never too old to learn so I do whatever I can to learn something new whether that is self-teaching or formal training. I am currently unemployed, but looking for work. In my spare time I like to read and do projects around the house and have done everything from touch-up painting to putting down a hardwood floor. My wife, Karri, and I love to travel and always love going to somewhere warm, whether that is Florida, Palm Springs, Mexico, Hawaii, or the Caribbean. For our 10th wedding anniversary (in three years), a vacation to the South Pacific is being planned. I have four grown children that either work or are in university and I have two Yorkies that are just like children.
