Ramesh Perla

I, Perla Ramesh, am working in the field ofOrganic Synthesis, Biotransformations and Development of new methods at Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Hyderabad. I have developed new syntheticmethodologies which are simple but effective to obtain enantiomerically purechiral intermediates. My work explores in detail the various approaches to theproblem which include substrate modification, chemical modification of the enzyme and enzyme immobilization. I have developedeffective routes to synthesis of several bioactiive molecules and important chiral drug intermediates.
