Per Olav Skjervold

Dr. Agric Per Olav Skjervold is a Norwegian Innovator and R&D; Manager. He has a background as scientist within the fields of Aquaculture and Food Science, at the University of Life Sciences, Ås Norway. Being an innovative scientist, his research has led to several patents and business start-up’s. When working as Innovation Manager and Head of Marine research at TINE R&D;, he initiated Salmon Brands AS, a joint company between Bremnes Seashore and TINE, developing SALMA TM, the first branded product based on ultra fresh farmed salmon. Later he joined the Cermaq group, as Managing Director for EWOS Innovation. EWOS innovation is the largest industrial R&D; organisation within the aquaculture sector, with main focus on sustainable production of fish feed. Skjervold has worked with innovation strategy and management as director at the Norwegian Research Counsil. He is now developing new businesses as investor and consultant. Per Olav has a career as blues and R&B; musician.
