Before striking out on my own, I struggled with my penchant for always wanting to be more effecive, to do it better, quicker, easier and with humor. Implementing that kind of vision can be hard in a large organization. I yearned to leave that reality and life afforded me that opportunity - along with the greatest period of personal growth I could have wanted. I expored virtually every crevice of my mind to find an outlet. Life will never be the same.

My philosophy is to be the best, you have to hire the best, reward the best, use best technologies, adopt best practices or even create your own. When that happens, you have People At Their Best. To what else could I ever aspire?

I had to create that my own pallette and canvas, if you will. What a journey! As a poet, I learned to listen and speak to myself with honesty. As an artist, I learned to embrace failure. As an educator, I replicated the salient points in multiple ways to reach understanding.

Now I see, talk, love and believe differently. So now I work not only differently, but better.

I studied to be an architect in college, but the notion of being a teacher took hold. Thanks to a series of fortunate events, I often taught in building trades settings. I adored my topics and audiences. Now I work with them and we make each other better.

I earned a graduate degree in adult vocational education, but have always learned more than I taught. I have six sigma, SPHR, PMP and countless other certifications, but found that those letters at the end of your title mean nothing if you're not true to the name at the front.
