PERRY MITCHELL

DJ’n since 2006. Perry Mitchell (a.k.a. DJ FITTED) is a young 23 year old entrepreneur running his own business starting at the age of 14. His inspiration was seeing a young DJ his own age on stage mixing at his local skate rink. It dawned on him this is something that he could do himself. Immediately the next day he informed his parents this is something that he would like to pursue professionally. His parents then got in touch with a family friend of theirs that was a DJ during their college days. Soon after that DJ FITTED met their friend and became DJ FITTED’s mentor. He lent him some old gear and the rest was history. DJ FITTED’s first gig was a middle school graduation party. He got a great turn out from that event and from there on he expanded his business booking larger contracts. Through out the years he built a great reputation among his peers and clients, resulting in referrals for more business. He was also smart and saved his earnings and reinvested into his business when only necessary. While becoming a DJ he also picked up the skill to compose and remix his music on Logic Pro & Pro-Tools. EDM, Hip-Hop/Rap, and R&B are the genres he produces mainly. Among recent accomplishments, DJ FITTED has earned his Bachelor of Science in Recording Arts at Full Sail University Fall of 2012.
