Writer, Actor, and Teacher in Nigeria
Born on the 6th day of December, in the year 1969, Osayande Paul Persol, commonly referred to as Paul O. Persol in the creative world didn’t have any much challenge with indicating his inclination for the art.
Perhaps motivated by story-telling forebears and the passion for History, Economics, English Literature, and Government courses in senior high school, he gleefully developed his appetite for creative expression. The proclivity for reenacting reality and fiction, saw him through to studying Theatre Arts at the University of Benin, Edo State, Mid-western Nigeria.
He is the first of eight children, in a complicated polygamous home setting. And from everyday encounters growing up, he developed a liking for social work, creative writing in Advertising, and Counselling. He currently owns an NGO – Mercy and Peace Creation, from which platform he advocates for all forms of Gender Justice, Women empowerment, and girl-child education.
He has successfully put several manuscripts together, bothering on different spheres of life, including the disruptive ‘God Must Be Guilty!’ and ‘The god called WOMAN’, ‘Knee on my neck’, the Poem - “STALE”, and many others. He has three children: Miracle, Michael, and Moses.
