Peta Jinnath Andersen
Hi, my name is Peta.
I'm a books person–I'm interested in all aspects of publishing, but particularly in children's and young adult fiction. My work has appeared all over the internet. I've written features and interviews (with some big YA names, such as Scott Westerfeld, Laurie Halse Anderson, and Maggie Stiefvater), reviews, guest posts, and blog posts. My personal blog, *Insert Literary Blog Name Here, * has a strong children's and YA focus.
I'm also an experienced copywriter, editor, and even sub-editor–if you can imagine it, I've probably written or edited for it. Most of my recent experience has been with online markets, though I'm also skilled with InDesign, InCopy, and Photoshop.
Most importantly, I believe in the power of words. Books change lives–they provide not just an escape, but a framework through which we can interpret the world. For children and young adults, books are especially important; great books encourage us to reach higher, as readers and as parents, while the best books light the way for teens struggling through the dark.
