Pete Haviland-Eduah is a public policy professional and graduate of the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan. Originally from Saratoga Springs, NY, Pete is a graduate of Union College, former Capitol Hill Staffer and proud alum of SKDKnickerbocker. Pete is passionate about social justice and seeking creative, forward thinking ways to leave the world better than he found it.
With on-the-record media experience, Pete has served as a spokesperson for the Million Hoodies Movement for Justice, a national racial justice network dedicated to advancing a participatory democracy agenda and human rights for all. Pete has been featured in the New York Times, Washington Post, USA Today, the Hill, the Nation, and NBC News. He’s participated as a panelist and invited keynote public speaker at colleges and universities in the U.S. and was a co-creator of the 2015 short documentary film, Walking the Line of Blackness.
An avid sports fan and former college football player, Pete proudly supports the Baltimore Ravens and New York Knicks.
