Born in Biel, Switzerland, and living in Wabern, Bern. Sound and Vision: He studied piano and later took drum and percussion lessons at the conservatory in Biel. Under the alias Aurel, he released two albums on Tonatom and 2063Music. At the end of the nineties, he produced his own show, "Noise in a Box," at a local radio station in Bern. He also launched the net-space Maetrixsolution, where various musicians promoted and published their very first works. In March 2005, he started the first pure internet music festival, the "Netstockfest," with over 90 acts worldwide. He followed that with a music DVD production called "Transport" (sold out). Pete participated in a project that originated from jam sessions, eventually forming the band Mathon. From 2009 to 2015, Pete worked for Everest Records and served as a radio presenter for Radio Rabe's "Unerhörtes Ungehörtes" program, collaborating with Harry Schaumburger and Mich Moser. During this period, Mathon released six albums and two EPs on Everest Records. He played an active role as a co-organizer at the renowned Les Digitales Festival until 2014. His diverse portfolio also includes contributions to various media installations and film scores for ETOY, MauriceDeMartin, ZHDK, HKB, and the Museum of Communication, to name a few.
