Peter Johnson

I joined the Department of Geography and Environmental Management at the University of Waterloo in 2012 having been a postdoctoral fellow at McGill University. My interests are in open data, mobile technology, and the use of agent-based models (ABM), geographic information systems (GIS), and the Geospatial Web 2.0 (Geoweb), for decision support. Recent projects have focused on community development, the inclusion of volunteered geographic information in governance, crowdsourced planning support systems and web-harvesting on-line content.
