My career was in management consulting and owed much to my education in the Humanities. I am among the many people growing increasingly concerned at their marginalisation and am committed to increasing the recognition of their value in today's society, not least in commerce. I founded the non-profit Humanities 21 in 2012 to promote the Humantities in the business world.
In 2010 I completed a PhD on manufacturing in classical Athens. A book called "Poiesis" that expands that research will be published by Oxford University Press in October.and available for purchase here
