Uppsala

I have been working for the Unit for Biometrics and Document Verification at the Swedish Migration Board since 2006 and before that I was employed by the National Fingerprint Bureau as a fingerprint examiner. Apart from fingerprint and facial comparisons on a day to day basis I assist the Board on matters regarding personal identification and have a close cooperation with related national and international agencies. I am also involved on EU-level regarding EURODAC. I have published articles on fingerprint history and am a member of the IAI.

I have an MA from Uppsala University majoring in Classical Archaeology with a focus on Roman villas. While studying I participated in archaeological excavations in Mûsov in the Czech Republic and in Prima Porta and Pompeii in Italy. I also studied Archival Science and worked at the City Archive in my home town of Västerås and at the National Archive.

I am somewhat of an anglophile and have a keen interest in Sherlock Holmes, men´s style and lots and lots of other things.
