Peter Combs

I have a hard time talking about my self for fear of sounding pretentious but here we go. I am not entirely sure the best way to use this site so I'll just cover the basics. I grew up in the Bay area working a meriad of jobs untll I graduated high school. In 2007 I had an incredible opportunity to go to Armenia and find out a little about who I am and it's always nice to get a different perspective on life and the world. When I got back I started a 4 year career in security. In 2011 my department was laid off wich gave me some time to think about and work on me. I did some growing and revised the importance of being happy. I finally landed a job on Alcatraz Island. That was a dream, it really taught me a lot. After the Government shut down in 2013 I found a full time job as a pizza maker closer to home in Petaluma. That job really showed me the difference between a job like Alcatraz, where most people had a college degree and a kitchen job where most people bearly had a high school diploma. It really helped show me that to get from here to a career I wanted the best way was to get a college degree. For the past 7 years I had watched my girlfriend work her way up the latter in her career at Starbucks and how well they treated her. Once they offered full college tuition reimbursement it became obvious to me. So I have started at starbucks and have enrolled in classes working on a sustainably degree.
