I live in Canberra, Australia currently working as De facto Software Requirements Manager. Previously I was an author and maintainer of automated software tests and before that I was a software developer in various languages.

I like to take photographs mainly of the natural landscape.

I hope that the somewhat biased additions I'm making to my collections won't give a bad impression. I often worry about this. Not enough to stop my skewed selections.

I am writing a novel and finding this much more challenging than I imagined. I forsee a long struggle in the editing.

I mainly read on my Kindle Paperwhite. At the moment I am introducing myself to Charles Cumming, amazing stuff although the writing is giving me an inferiority complex.

I must admit that although I love the idea of design I am not good at the design of physical things and I really want to be good at this. I would have liked to have been an architect.

I don't understand why housing is still, with all our technology, such an expensive problem to solve.
