I was a Chartered Surveyor in private practice for 20 years, specialising in surveys and valuations of residential and commercial properties. I moved into design-and-build construction and property development during this period.

About 17 years ago, I changed direction with a view to developing new systems of hands-on education designed to demonstrate 'real education' and its objective to 'bring out from within'. The early focus was to initiate 'people's media' production and hosting facilities as a combined educational and empowerment process.

The Holistic Education Foundation Co. Ltd. operates as a 'design-and-build' contractor to develop software, systems and alliances focussed on personal and community development.

Our vision is a world created and sustained by communities of people living debt-free, creative lives with a focus on life-long learning and balanced self-development.

Our software - www.tgl.tv - provides 'tools' in a digital village where people and corporate bodies can offer their time, skills and knowledge to generate a new L-ocal currency - called L - in their L Bank account. In effect, local liquidity, enterprise and innovation can grow as people are incentivised to 'learn-and-earn' together.

Co-Lab CIC works in tandem to initiate and support the Co-Lab brand and operational model. Here tglHUBS are licensed as local management and co-commissioning centres to support unique social-cultural-economic networks. Markets can be supplied by local providers of goods and services; boosted with new-found enthusiasm to generate increased L-iquidity through collaboration. Local enterprise can become increasingly attractive to investors as local trade cycles build; while combinations of traditional and debt-free funding enable lower gearing.

Thus, communities can learn to develop as a new and invest-worthy asset class; wherein innovative ideas and solutions can be seeded and tested in pilot projects. Such communities can be actual (based on location) or virtual (by interest group or age); presenting a vital new aspect to 'grass roots', localised development. The Hub supply-and-demand chains will be tracked by the software so that their combined purchasing power can be aggregated; while integrating the L-ocal currency across the entire market.
