Throughout my childhood, I dealt with a lisp and a stutter. Consequently, I grew up shy and introverted, avoiding communicating with others as much as possible. But isn't it funny how life doesn't necessarily take one's views into account?

Ironically, much of my adult life has been based on communicating with people through the written and spoken word.

In the 1980s, I began my journey as a speaker. Just a few years later, I started a publishing company that flourished. So much for not wanting to communicate with others.

As much as I love speaking, I discovered that I am just as passionate about helping people become more confident, captivating public speakers. And it's from my coaching practice that The Captivating Public Speaker emerged.

I wrote this book with you in mind, based on the AMP'D Framework I use when working with clients. Through this book, I aim to help you achieve the success you've been striving for so you can bring your stories, knowledge, and experiences to the world.
