ABOUT ME
A few years ago my wife (then girlfriend) and I decided to move in together. As most New Yorkers are from other places (her Minnesota, me New Jersey), we met, fell in love and decided to move in together. We both loved Manhattan, both loved beach, going out and were both very close with our families. Decisions, decisions, decisions. Her being more of a Long Island girl and me being from New Jersey, this was going to be tough. I played my trump card though, Asbury Park. I took her to the beach, wined and dined and schmoozed and boozed her. With some success, she said this is a pretty cool town. BOOM, let’s move there.
For the “locals” - she still is not sure what a “Benny” is but I told her that we needed to change her license plates from New York to New Jersey ones ASAP. Technically she is still a “Benny” but I am ok with that.
