I am a research assistant at Halle University (Germany) and a lecturer at Bielefeld University. I gained my PhD from Halle University in 2014. My thesis dealt with the history of the Personal Weblog and can be downloaded here . Many of the earliest postings of this blog mirror the final stages of my thesis. Currently, the blog is turning to other endeavours connected to my academic life (e.g. the 10plus1journal).
When I am not working, I spend time with my family (my beautiful wife and my two sons).
