Peter Oliver

Oliver and Daughters was founded in Isleworth, West London by Peter Oliver in 2012. Peter is a member of the Richmond & Twickenham Photographic Society and the Royal Photographic Society. He is currently preparing his portfolio for his Licentiateship with the RPS.

We provide high quality fine art prints to: art collectors/dealers, photography lovers, interior designers, and business owners for their offices and boardrooms.

My passion for photography ranges from the earliest days of the craft with photographers like Alfred Stieglitz to Alvin Langdon Coburn through to Abstract Expressionist photographer Aaron Siskind. I also love the work of Mark Rothko, Franz Kline, Barnett Newman & Jackson Pollock. These artists inspire me on a daily basis and my body of work.

I present a series of images on flat surfaces that stand independent of the original subject. My eye is drawn by: colour, texture, line or form, rust or neglect. I also love working with fog to create atmospheric images. When necessary I create props and images in my studio by painting and then photographing elements of the painted image.
