Peter Wain is GIS Business Manager at Kent County Council and Founder of KentGIS.

Royal Geographical Society ( with IBG ) Fellow and Chartered Geographer CGeog ( GIS ).

Association of Geographic Information Member.

Peter is an experienced GIS Manager having implemented and managed GIS infrastructure, solutions and staff at Tunbridge Wells Borough Council and Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council.

He is an Esri UK Award Winner for “Best Web Map” ( MapMyTweet ) and has written a number of case studies and press releases for the UK’s GIS sector.

He supported MapAction during a charity climb of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania during October 2014. MapAction works in disaster zones providing frequently updated situation maps showing where relief help is most urgently needed.
