Peter learned desktop publishing at the IHK (Public University) in Augsburg, Germany in 1999. From 2000 to 2011 he worked as a QA engineer on Flash for Macromedia and Adobe in San Francisco. This gave him the great opportunity to expand his knowledge about many Macromedia and Adobe applications. During this time, he also discovered his great passion for shooting and editing digital video and started to use the products and technology in his spare time to produce live concert videos.

In 2001 he founded GDMproductions in Oakland, CA. In 2004 he upgraded his equipment to the HD format. Around this time, he also had the opportunity to work as camera man for the Hayward public TV station and other local cable stations.

He also worked with many other video production companies, which enriched his knowledge about lighting, sound and other important video production work flows.
