Peter, is a healthcare executive and the former CIO at the Connecticut Health Insurance Exchange, recognized for Digital Innovation by CIO100, MIT Sloan, Computerworld, and PMI.

Peter was responsible for Connecticut Health Insurance Exchange’s (AHCT) industry-leading digital platform transforming consumerism and retail oriented services for the health insurance industry. AHCT is the only public or private health information exchange with an integrated web and mobile platform for customers and a standardized API for B2B integration enabling the full ability to enroll in healthcare from a mobile device, resulting in national recognition for innovation including: 2014 Health IT Leadership Award, 2014 Driving Digital Government Award, 2014 Health Innovator of the Year Award and the International Mobile App Awards for Best New Mobile Service Award.

Previously, Peter was responsible for AHCT’s marketplace implementation, providing the most stable HIX launch October 01, 2013, reducing Connecticut’s uninsured rate by more than half, a national model for success and recognized as a 2014 PMI Project of the Year Award Finalist.

Most recently recognized as a 2015 CIO100, “Innovating in the Digital Economy” Winner by CIO Magazine “recognizing CIOs that transform the organization with a strong sense of customer value and interaction down to necessary operational transformation that ensures the organization can satisfy the needs of its customers.”

Peter, is also a national speaker on leadership, healthcare and digital consumerism interviewed by NY Times, WSJ, NBC News and PMI PM Network magazine and is a frequent contributor to global healthcare publications. Most recently he was an honored speaker at the 2016 MIT CIO Leadership Symposium and in 2016 received the Premier 100 Technology Leader Computerworld 2016, a lifetime achievement award for innovation and leadership.

Honored speaker at MIT Sloan School of Management, Yale School of Management, and major industry events covering digital and innovation. Also, Peter is an active contributor to CIO.com and numerous trade publications on health, technology, and innovation.
