Peter Ceko

Peter Ceko is currently chief executive officer with Duratel, a utility pole manufacturer based in Chicago, Illinois. His numerous responsibilities include managing the daily operations, strategically expanding markets domestically and overseas, and handling sales. He also takes on financial responsibilities, seeking out new methods of revenue and new projects. Peter Ceko also sets the strategic plans for the company, outlining 3-year, 5-year, and 10-year goals.

Prior to his current position, Ceko served as managing partner at Calatrava Capital Management, another Chicago-based firm. He primarily focused on finding and raising capital for commodity and hedge funds and succeeded in raising more than $250 million for one of the firm’s leading funds. The executive also worked as senior vice president for Fimat USA in Chicago, where he oversaw the institutional derivatives sales and trading desk while directing sales professionals and cultivating relationships with mortgage clients.

Peter Ceko studied economics at Harvard University and graduated with honors. He later earned a Master of Business Administration in finance from the University of Chicago.
