Peter Denley

I am Peter Denley, and I am a Student film maker studying at Southampton Solent University. I am dedicated and motivated when it comes to producing media content, and am able to work across various aspects of the field, such as filming, sound and editing, due to the fact film and television has always been a huge passion for me since I was little.

My main area of expertise is camera operation and cinematography, as I have spent the last few years of my life not only watching films, but analysing the artistic aspect behind the camera work involved, with cinematographers such as John and Jeff Cronenweth being hugely influential to me.

I am also very comfortable producing an entire video involving all aspects such as sound, video, editing etc., by my self, or can work excellently in a team, being able to control or work under a team with confidence and good communication skills. This can be seen through my previous work creating video's with and outside of the university, creating them on my own, and up to a large team of about 15 people in the studio. Smaller group based work also includes freelancing work I have participated in, which required me to be independent and take control to portray my ideas, and larger group work requiring me to communicate and listen to what every members vision is.
