Since his leadership, Wheatstone cut its expenses in more than half while doubling its offerings. It restated its mission, increased transparency and diversity, and formed new strategic partnerships with established Christian universities and organizations. He's working to begin a movement to renew Christian education, youth ministry, and family by inviting into Christian adulthood. To that end, he designed a training program to equip youth pastors, Christian teachers, and other small group leaders to lead discussions that transform students' lives: Discussion for Transformation.

A Member of the Torrey Honors Institute's Order of Peter and Paul, Peter thinks about art, anthropology, theology, and philosophy, and he paints, draws, designs, and writes.
