I am a composer, musician, educator, writer, and artist.

I have a head full of useless nonsense and I want to share it with the world. Sometimes that happens through art. Sometimes that happens through teaching. Sometimes that happens through pub quizzes.

I am the curator of What Happened to Seaton Snook?, an online archive of sounds and music from the abandoned County Durham town of Seaton Snook.

When I am not doing any of the above, you'll probably find me watching horror films, scoring badly at an archery range, spotting telephone booths, teaching myself algebra and Japanese (though not at the same time), campaigning for drug law reform, or ranting about bisexual erasure.

I have a wonderful wife and a delightful cat. I love them both dearly, even though one of them attacks me when I don't feed them on time.
