Peter Finocchio

I am currently a third-year student at the University of Virginia majoring in History and Government, and undergoing a Classics minor with a concentration in Latin. My two greatest passions are civics and history. I have served as Communications Director and Treasurer for the College Republicans at UVa, and am both the Communications Director and 5th District Representative for the College Republican Federation of Virginia. I am a staff writer and the distribution delegate for the Virginia Advocate, a right-leaning monthly student magazine at UVA. Additionally at UVa I am a member of the Burke Society, Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship, and Reformed University Fellowship.

In addition to my aforementioned extracurricular commitments, part-time jobs, and attention grades, I have sought to serve my University through stewardship and leadership. I am a College Representative on the Student Council, serve on the Student Council's Legislative Affairs Committee, and am a Student Ambassador. I have volunteered at our current University President's inauguration, participated in service days, and have helped with the University's outreach to parents, accepted students, and prospective applicants in various capacities.

There hasn't been a day I have been unemployed since I was sixteen years old.

I believe in stewardship. I believe in leadership. I believe in a life of works and devotion.
